Course Description:
This informative workshop gives instructors the tools to create inspiring vinyasa yoga classes that are founded on flow yet grounded in the safety of exercise science. The learning includes physical execution, transitions, and modifications to traditional yoga poses with an emphasis on effectiveness and safety. Dynamic vinyasa sequencing, flowing class formats, and transformative language for communicating the mind/body connection have made this the most popular vinyasa yoga style in the world today. While most attendees have experience as either yoga students, teachers, therapists, or as fitness professionals, there are no prerequisites, only the desire to learn and commitment to attend. Level 1 includes an innovative and experiential learning environment guided by a talented and experienced YogaFit Master Trainer, a YogaFit Level 1 DVD and Active Volume 3 CD (first-time participants only), and a comprehensive training manual.
YogaFit has trained thousands of people worldwide. Students will receive aCertificate of Completion which qualifies one to teach YogaFit style classes once Communtiy Service is complete. In order to receive the Level 1 Teacher Training Certificate of Completion, YogaFit requires the Level 1 Trainee to donate 8 hours of practice teaching in a community service setting, bringing the gift of yoga to individuals who would not normally be exposed to yoga on a regular basis. Participants in the YogaFit Community Service program have taught to seniors, children, teens at risk, cancer survivors, HIV patients, handicapped persons, incarcerated individuals and stressed out corporate executives.
The tuition includes hands-on training, a high-quality DVD (first-time participants only), and a comprehensive manual with pose descriptions, class formats and music recommendations. Early Bird cut off date is one month PRIOR to the scheduled training date. If Registering 7 days or less PRIOR to the scheduled Training Date, the late registration fee goes into effect.
Here’s the thing about Drrty Tittyz — we’re like Spice Girls. If the Spice Girls were occult thug goth grrls from the year 3030. Our beats and our breasts are like beasts cuz we’re the best.
Antonio Urdiales. Artist. Innovator.
I remember a specific time about five years ago or so where I went down to Montevallo with my friend Cheri to see Emily and Antonio. We decided on a whim to stay up all night drinking to create some sort of a music experiment/project/statement. That night we collaborated in a small room in Antonio’s house. All of us packed in this tiny room with an odd assortment of instruments and equipment. IT WAS MADNESS. We wouldn’t have done it any other way. I think after we laid down four “tracks” we eventually all passed out. The details there are blurry. However, I do remember waking up to Antonio in just a T-shirt that he made with a pentagram smiley face spray painted on it.

Interesting and informative. Keep the romance in wine and be green.
Some dumb fuck T-boned me (in my truck) on UAH’s campus. I missed all my classes/labs. If you need me I will be wallowing in self pity, drowning back pain in Cabernet Sauvignon, and watching the entire planet earth series on my couch. Fuck my pissy life.
Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance. They do this by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and actions.
